Aims of the Course

The course is designed for people who have never made a presentation before or for those who would like to improve their skills and confidence.  Whether it is a sales presentation, presenting a report to the board, communicating with a group or talking to a team, presentations need to be prepared systematically and delivered with confidence.

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

• Dealing with nerves and confidence building
• Communicate effectively in a variety of situations

• Planning, preparing and organising material
• Structuring the presentation for different situations
• Breathing and voice production
• Using expression in voice and body
• Gaining attention and keeping it
• Listening and reflecting the needs of the audience
• Developing visual aids for different types of equipment
• Remaining calm under pressure and achieving focus
• Using rehearsal and visualisation to achieve confidence
• Overcoming barriers to communication
• Handling difficult questions positively and concisely
• Using notes inconspicuously and memory systems
• Organising and managing the environment

Course Delivery and Cost

The course is delivered over two days with recorded role plays, analysis, supporting exercises and a detailed workbook.
